Customer Centricity at Our Core

Mar 1, 2022

We’ve always had an in-depth understanding of the specialized requirements of our clients, and whilst we’ve evolved through the years, one thing that hasn’t changed is how we continue to carefully design and craft all our products to meet those needs.

We continually strive to ensure the residents of aged care, healthcare, retirement, and mental health facilities are happy, comfortable, and provided for. We therefore take a customer centric approach to every project to guarantee that our furniture offers optimum comfort, style, and the correct ergonomics to improve the quality of life of residents. Extra care is undertaken to ensure each piece of our furniture is designed to be beneficial for both patients and carers in their day-to-day living environment, through to welcoming visitors in family settings.

With a more leisurely paced lifestyle bestowed to residents of aged care and retirement facilities, it is imperative that comfort is king. Our range of recliners are specifically designed to reduce the chance of pressure sores and discomfort, are built to be lightweight and many are made to be easy to wheel around, so they can be moved and maneuvered whenever necessary. Certain pieces have additional features to make day to day living and care easier on both patients and carers, such as moveable arms on recliners allowing for ease of transfer, and push handles on the backs of chairs for the benefit of carers.

Whilst functionality and comfort are primary, we have a distinct appreciation of the role that aesthetics play in the wellbeing of residents, visitors, and carers alike. This is evident in a recent project undertaken at Palms Lifestyle Village, a state-of-the-art retirement village in Whangarei. The team at Archer Care worked with the manager of the facility where sleek curves adorned with lavish finishes and fabrics present a warm ambience of luxury. An inspiring interior greets visitors from the moment they step into the reception and continues throughout the facility. Occasional chairs offer the ultimate of seating comfort covered in rich patterns twinned with a blend of contemporary colours that create a space which is both vibrant and luxurious.

For Palms Lifestyle Village the brief was to marry unparalleled comfort with timeless opulence. It was the elegant deep buttoned back Chesterfield 3-Seater Sofa and comfortable Jenson Tub Chair upholstered in opulent velvet and neutral hues paired with the Laurent Nesting Tables and the grand stone feature fireplace, that we were certain would set the scene for an impressive welcome. Continuing through to the living spaces, we opted for a combination of harmonious blues and neutrals with pops of sunny yellow cushions, whilst neutral hues paired with the walnut timber stain provide a calming ambience in the lounge area.

As with all projects, we strive to provide the best positive experience to realize our client’s vision. Consequently, the selection of pieces is a considered and collaborative decision unique to facility’s functional and material needs. This demands a deep understanding of each of our clients’ unique requirements, something which the Archer Care team takes pride in.
